Rescue and Rehome

At our facility, we are dedicated to the care and well-being of hedgehogs and tenrecs. We take in hedgehogs from various situations, ensuring that each one receives the attention and care it needs to thrive. We work closely with the Hedgehog Welfare Society and the Tenrec Welfare Society, two organizations that share our commitment to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of these incredible animals. Through our partnership with these societies, we can offer expert guidance, resources, and a network of support to provide the best possible care for every hedgehog and tenrec that comes into our care. Together, we aim to ensure these animals lead healthy, fulfilling lives, whether they are being rehomed or permanently cared for.

Hedgies in the Pines also provides a safe space for unwanted hedgehogs, offering them a soft landing where they can recover, thrive, and feel secure. Many of these hedgehogs come from challenging situations, and we ensure they receive the care, comfort, and attention they need. In addition to providing a safe environment, we also work to rehome them, giving them a second chance at a loving, permanent home where they can continue to live healthy, happy lives.
