Boarding Services for Hedgehogs:
- Individual Accommodations: Each hedgehog will have its own spacious enclosure, designed to ensure comfort, safety, and privacy. We provide clean bedding, proper heating, and a quiet environment to minimize stress.
- Diet and Feeding: We will continue to feed your hedgehog its usual diet. Please bring enough of your hedgehog’s food for the duration of their stay. If special dietary needs or preferences exist, please let us know in advance.
- Temperature & Environment: Hedgehogs require a stable environment to thrive. We provide heating to maintain an appropriate temperature (around 72-78°F), mimicking the conditions of their natural habitat.
- Health Monitoring: We monitor your hedgehog’s health daily, ensuring that they are eating, drinking, and behaving as expected. If any concerns arise, we will contact you immediately for guidance or arrange veterinary care if needed.
- Socialization and Interaction: Hedgehogs can be shy or solitary creatures, so we will respect their need for privacy. If your hedgehog enjoys handling, we can provide supervised playtime. However, if your hedgehog prefers to stay in its enclosure, we will respect that as well.
- Special Requests: If your hedgehog has any special needs, such as medication or specific care instructions (e.g., heating pads, favorite toys, etc.), please let us know, and we will make the necessary arrangements to ensure their comfort.
Pricing Menu:
Our boarding rates are based on the duration of your hedgehog’s stay and any special services required. All prices are per hedgehog.
Standard Boarding:
- 1 Day (24 hours): $15
- Additional Days: $10 per day
- Weekly Rate (7 days): $60
Additional Services:
- Administering Medication: $5 per day
- Special Diet or Supplements: $3 per day (please provide food and instructions)
- Bath and Nail Trimming: $10 (upon request)
- Health Check & Vet Visit (if needed): Cost of veterinary care plus $15 service fee
- Daily Updates (Photos/Updates via email): Free (upon request)
Late Pick-Up Fee:
- Failure to Pick Up Within 72 Hours (without prior communication): $10 per day after the agreed-upon pick-up date. After 72 hours, the hedgehog will be considered abandoned, and we may rehome or place it with a rescue organization at the owner’s expense.
Reservation & Cancellation Policy:
- A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required to secure your hedgehog’s reservation.
- Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid a charge for the first day of boarding.
- A late fee will be applied for pick-ups after the agreed date.
Additional Terms:
- We require all hedgehogs to be free from contagious diseases.
- If your hedgehog is in need of medical attention during their stay, we will contact you immediately. You are responsible for any medical costs incurred during the boarding period.
- We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that may occur during the boarding stay, except in cases of proven negligence.
